Hello there. Would you like to access mentoring, coaching, or therapy services? I’m happy to chat with you about the support you desire and the personal work you’d like to initiate.
I’m a psychotherapist who has spent the past 17 years exploring creative and somatic approaches for nourishing growth and fostering relaxation, ease, and connection with life. I created a studio in Folsom, California, where I offer individual, couple, family, and group services. I also help people via skype, for folks from a distance. You can learn more about this work here. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, in California, a Certified Art Therapist, and a Registered Yoga Teacher.
In addition to offering psychotherapy, I also support people through creative coaching and mentoring. These relationships involve consistent generative companionship, composed of encouragement, skillful observation, and focused challenge. I provide attentive listening, observational attunement, and help you develop spacious and precise inquiry. You contemplate, practice, and create what is meaningful for you within this framework of support. This is a focused opportunity to foster your confidence, clarify your vision, and hone your offering.
Some folks access this coaching and mentoring to support changes in their way of living in the world, to shift dynamics in particular relationships, to clarify career choices and movements, or to develop a particular project.
I have a particular love of movement-based exploration, improvisation, and contemplation. Over the past 17 years I’ve trained as a yoga teacher, a conscious dance teacher, in somatic psychology, as well as in dance-movement therapy and movement-based expressive arts. For the past 3 years I’ve helped develop the curriculum for the mentorship program in the Soul Motion Embodied Leadership Program, and served as a mentor in the program and as the mentor coordinator supporting the mentor team for cohorts of students in Europe and USA. From this rich ground of synthesized exploration in movement and mentoring, I currently also offer mentorship to any folks interested in developing their capacity as dance and movement facilitators, teachers, and therapists.
